Ah, my weight is not decreasing anymore. What is wrong? I know the answer. Everyone knows the answer. The answer is I eat a lot. If I eat less than my body needs, I will definitely lose weight. Here, one curiosity comes to me.
There are people eat a lot yet slim. Some of them consume their extra energies by exercises. However there are people eat a lot but don’t gain weight. What’s the secret?
I used to be one of them when I was a teenager. I ate a lot but I was slim. The one thing I remember is I ate slowly. I chewed many times before swallow. I remember that because my mother used to scold me for slow eating. Mostly because I had to go to school yet I was eating my breakfast slow. Is eating slow the secret? I’ve been told that if you eat fast, you would gain weight. Those people explain it in this way. You eat food and our body send signals to your brain that you are full. But when you eat too fast, you eat more before you get the signal of full. That seems make sense a little. Then what about eating slow and a lot? Because I was like that when I was young. I can see others doing same as well. They eat slow, a lot but still remaining slim. Then should we find a reason in defecation?
Certainly when we eat more, we defecate more. We should think of the process before defecation. We eat food and degrade it into small molecules. Our body absorb nutrients in our cells. Our cells has those nutrients and we can use it when our body needs. Extra nutrient won’t go out in urine or poop. If that happens, that would be a disease. Here is one interesting I read before. When our cells are not enough for save, our body makes more cells, the mast cells. It usually goes to our belly. The more we eat, the more cells on our belly. Finally we have a big belly. The worst thing is that once the cells are made, they don’t disappear. So even though we lost weight, it is easy to gain weight back because all mast cells are ready to be filled with fat. The point is that skinny or fat, nutrients will not be wasted. It is nothing about defecating more. The only plausible reason seems that whether they notice or not, skinny people exercise more and their body would have more muscles than chubby people.
